Offences & Penalties

Section Offence Penalty
26(1) Contravention, attempt to contravene, or abetting contravention of any of the provisions of this Act, Failure to set up an internal committee, failure to take action under S.13,14,22 Fine upto 50000 Rs
26(2) Repeating an offence after conviction for the same offence twice the punishment, which might have been imposed on a first conviction and cancellation of license or registration
17 Penalty for publication or making known contents of complaint and inquiry proceedings penalty in accordance with the provisions or the service rules and if not prescribed, the employer shall recover a sum of five thousand rupees as penalty
