Delhi Minimum Wages Rules
The Government of National Capital territory of Delhi has released revised VDA from 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022. Please refer to the notification for more information.
Orissa Minimum Wage Rules
The Government of Odisha has released revised Variable Dearness Allowance with effective 1st October 2021 . Please refer to the notification for more information.
Central Minimum Wages Rules
As per File No. 1/26(i)/2021-LS-ll, The Government of India has released Minimum Wages for the Central sphere effective 1st October 2021.
Telangana Minimum Wage Rules
The government of Telangana has released the updated CPI points that are to be used in calculating the variable dearness allowance. These rates are effective 1st October 2021.
ESI (Central) Rules
Provisions of ESIC under Chapters IV, V, and VI will now be extended to the regions of Ahmednagar, Yavatmal and Jalna in Maharashtra. This will be effective 1st November 2021.
Tamil Nadu Factories Rules
Through an amendment made to Schedule XX of the Factory Rules, which talks about managing, manufacturing, and handling asbestos or use of asbestos in any form, the following changes have been instrumented: I. the Schedule is applicable to all manufacturing processes that involve workers exposure to asbestos or products containing asbestos; ii. It is the responsibility of the occupier of the factory to comply with the provisions of the Schedule pertaining to these workers; iii. The occupier shall prepare procedures and practices in terms of research and technological progress for approval by the Chief Inspector.
AP Minimum Wages Rules
The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide notifcation No.G/6019/2021 has released revised VDA for the state , with effective 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022. Please refer to the notification for more information.
Employees Provident Fund Scheme
All regional and zonal commissioners have been asked to regulate receipts of contribution received through employers in either electronic or physical form. The certificate may be issued by: i. High Commission of Republic of Singapore in India ii. Singapores Ministry of Trade and Industry iii. Consulate-General of Singapore in India

The government of Jharkhand has published the revised Variable Dearness Allowance for the state, effective 1st Otcober 2021.
Meghalaya Shops and Establishments Act
Through press release No. 275/21, the Government of Meghalaya has declared a paid public holiday on 30th October 2021. This is applicable to all employees in educational institutions, government offices, shops, trade, industrial undertakings and establishments in 13-Mawryngkneng (ST) and 24-Mawphlang (ST) constituencies in East Khasi Hills, and 47-Rajabala Assembly Constituency in West Garo Hills District. This is to facilitate voting for the bye elections.
