Definitions

Section Term Definition
2(a) Act "Act" means Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986)
2(b) Committee "Committee" means the Child Labour Technical Advisory Committee constituted under sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Act
2(c) Chairman "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee appointed under sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Act
2(d) Form "Form" means a form appended to these rules;
2(e) Register "Register" means the register required to be maintained under Section 11 of the Act
2(f) Schedule "Schedule" means the Schedule appended to the Act
2(g) Section "Section" means a section of the Act.
