Government announces Atmanirbhar package
Punjab Shops And Establishments Act (HAR)
The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 26th February, 2021 and is hereby published for general information: - The Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020 An Act to the provide seventy-five percent employment of local candidates by employer in the State of Haryana. Please refer to the notification for more information.
Industrial Disputes Act
The Manesar industrial welfare Association IMT Manesar Gurugram generation the Privaar Pehchaan Patra (PPP) of the all workers employed in industrial establishments in Haryana as directed by Worthy Labour Commissioner of Haryana through V.C.on dated 23-02-2021. Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) during its 184th Meeting held on 22.02.2021 under the chairmanship of Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge), Govt. of India has taken several significant decisions to improve its service delivery mechanism and to strengthen the medical infrastructure benefiting its Insured Workers.
Karnataka Shops And Establishments Act
The amendment to the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 8 of 1962), in section 15, in sub-section (7), for the first provison, Provided that, the total number of the days of leave that may be carried forward to a succeeding year shall not exceed forty-five days. This Act may be called the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments (Second Amendment) Act, 2020
ESI (Central) Rules
ESIC Department approval for allowing ESI beneficiaries to seek medical services from nearby empaneled hospital directly without referral, in case of non-availability of ESI health care system i.e. Hospital/Dispensary/IMP etc. within a radius of 10 KM of his/her residence.
Rajasthan Shops And Establishments Act
The Labour Department of Rajasthan has informed that all statutory registers and records/returns required under various labour laws are now allowed to be maintained online in digital format. Please refer to the notification for more details.
Telangana Shops and Establishments Act
In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, Hyderabad in the letter 5th read above, Government after careful examination of the matter hereby decided to grant exemption from the applicability of certain provisions of the labour laws subjected to certain conditions to simplify and minimize the regulatory compliance burden of the industry. AP Factory Rules
An extension for the filing of annual returns under the Factories Act has been announced by the Director of Factories, Andhra Pradesh. The extended date is 30th April, 2021. All officers have been instructed not to collect manual returns owing to online facilities being made available. They are also to avoid insisting on returns before the revised due date.
Employees Provident Fund Scheme
The EPF has made provisions for profile correction requests. Requests have been categorised into major (full name correction, fathers name, correction in over 2 fields); and minor corrections (expansion of initials, insertion of middle/fathers name, surname change after marriage). A competent authority has been notified for corrections, and two offices will handle major and minor corrections respectively.
Maharashtra PT Act
The Maharashtra Government has amended form I and Form II for Certificate of Registration under the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trade, Callings and Employment Act 1975.
Andaman and Nicobar
